Library

On CCOM’s campus there will be a library available to faculty, staff, and students. The library will host a variety of reference books and materials pertaining to the study of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Additionally, computers with internet access will be available for student use. Faculty, staff, and students may check out books and access the computers.

In addition to CCOM’s on-campus library, students will have multiple options to access learning material outside of the school:

  • Students can access peer-reviewed research articles on the The National Center for Biotechnology Information’s website (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/). Millions of research studies can be viewed for free by searching the PubMed Central database.
  • The McGoogan Library of Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Omaha Public Library currently offers twelve public libraries throughout Omaha, all of which are open to the public and can be utilized by CCOM students.
  • Do Space is a free, public technology library located on the corner of 72nd and Dodge Street in Omaha. There, students have access to free internet and computers.
