Following accreditation manual of Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), all applicants must meet the following requirements:
Participation in programs of Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine presume two years of accredited, postsecondary education at the baccalaureate level prior to enrollment in such programs.
Students who wish to transfer from an accredited or ACAOM-candidate college must meet the same prerequisites as a regular applicant. Credits taken at another accredited or ACAOM-candidate college may be transferable.
